Had a filet mignon with "petite" potatoes - with a flavorful seasoning. "Grilled" on that Ninja cooking machine I bought recently. Turned out great! Very tender black angus meat.

Meatloaf, creamed potatoes and pinto beans at the Cass County Seat Cafe. Strawberry cake for dessert. I haven't had strawberry cake in donkey's years. I used to ask for it every year for my birthday, when I was a kid. I think it's just a cake made with strawberry Jello. It's about 3/4 inch thick and they have it 2 or 3 times a week. It's free with the lunch special. Sometimes they have chocolate, King or lemon cake instead.

Pork chop with tatters and corn about as boring as it gets. Th coffee was better than the meal with whole cream and sugar. I have a bottle of Bailys the worlds smallest.

Toshtego is moving slowly this morning. Had to get up early to meet with the first fence contractor. Second one is supposed to be here in a few minutes. I managed to squeeze in an egg, bacon and 2 cups of coffee.

Yes. Moving slow. Leg pain bad and little sleep.
Marbles was delayed in getting outside this morning so he left an aromatic presentation for me on the tile floor. Nice to know his insides work and all is formed as it should be.
On a more pleasant note:
Baked two more loaves of bread last night. Enjoying this morning.
Half King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour (the 12 per cent) and half Spelt with a little K.A. Whole Wheat. Avocado Oil which I got on sale. That is good stuff.

Many parts of a pine tree are edible, Euell Gibbons. So I decided on grape nuts.

Two eggs over easy in corrals and country ham.
Tomorrow, if I have any milk handy, it is going to be Ham Gravy. Not Redeye but white ham gravy.

How's the moisture situation looking for northern New Mexico so far this year? As of two days ago, Snotell (that is "Sno-Tell" for youse wize geyes) reports our watershed is at 74 percent of the median pack. Further over in CO is 100 per cent. Last night's precip might have raised that number.

Arizona is in a really bad drought and in the greater Phoenix area: Even in the higher elevations it has been bad...as typically the case is here, the weathermen are predicting rain-mageddon this weekend, as they hope to sensationalize it all. Not a drop so far.

The menu from a place where we ate in the 60s, before I read the Hobbits. It's still around in another form, but nothing like the original.

Pretty cool, If you can get a clearer picture it would be nice to have a look. When I spread it out it gets blurry quick. I have the menu from the USNS Patch that we rode to and from England on in the 60's. Our meals were free though...we were freeloaders.

Where's the beef? The hippies that started that restaurant were ahead of the curve in that regard. Having said that, they still look good.

There was a Taco Bell across the street. 😜😎🤠 I'm going to make several of them if I can find the right kind of bread around here. They made their own whole grain bread fresh every day all day. It was an inch thick and wonderful. 😋 Edit: They made their own mayonnaise too.

Appears to be one of those 1970s Hippie Vegetarian places. I sure spent a lot of time in them back then.
