Don't feel much like cooking tonight. Burgers and fries with spinach salad. More than likely it will be a frozen lasagna and salad. Milk to drink!

Just got back from my weekly lunch date with mom. I was pleasantly surprised that she chose seafood for lunch. What mom wants is what she gets. 👍

Stopped by the local Mexican restaurant. Had a beef burrito with rice and beans. Skipped the Dos Equis Amber and had a diet Coke instead.

This morning an El Monterrey Breakfast Burrito with Applewood Smoked Bacon in the skillet with my own refritoes with cheese and green chile diced. The usual pot of tea. We haven't been able to get the El Monteray burritos up here. The only ones we can find are far inferior. So we end up cooking when we don't feel like it. I feel you pain. More importantly, there is a fella just over the border in Arkansas who shares that agony. I could arrange a CARE package. You know, relief for people in those backwards areas.

I cannot help the weird tags "Postimage.org" places on my uploads.
Perhaps the best meatloaf I have made. Purely by accident. I cannot stop eating it.

For the first time, I had a box disintegrate after opening. I do not know why but it turned to pieces and crumbs. So, I added the to the meat loaf and it was good.

Slices of lean venison roast, crockpot-done, with sweet onion petals, bok choy, sweet pickles, and pecan pieces. Tossed with kung pao sauce and MW’d for 1:25. Very tasty.

Had to do a grocery store run over to Wegmans. Since that would make it too late to cook when we got home, we opted to grab some subs while at the store. I had a Danny's Favorite. Cappicola, spicy ham, and salami on a seeded sub roll, oil, banana peppers, onions, lettuce, and provolone cheese. Hit the spot.

Eggs over easy, cut up orange, Daves killer bread toast with a v8. Dave's Bread is very good for a mass produced item. I buy it occasionally. I especially like their Burger Buns. My Chicken Noodle and Vegetable Soup had a large measure of cooked grains added along with Miso Tofu Soup base. Soup for breakfast started with me while in Jr, High School when I refused any more boxed cereals.

Chicken fajitas That Ninja countertop machine is coming in handy. Is it the Ninja Foodie? I've got one of those. Nearest thing I can have to a real grill. I've cooked quite a few steaks on it, and it does a surprisingly good job. Kind of great, actually. I just salt-and-pepper them and sock them in there. They're done in 5-7 minutes. Here's a pro tip: for salt, use some of that Maldon's Smoked Salt. You get a surprising amount of smoky flavor from it.
