Worked in the barn all day as the wife was feeling poorly and was sleeping. When I came in I found a super salad, spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic knots! 😁 🤠

Is it the Ninja Foodie? I've got one of those. Nearest thing I can have to a real grill. I've cooked quite a few steaks on it, and it does a surprisingly good job. Kind of great, actually. I just salt-and-pepper them and sock them in there. They're done in 5-7 minutes. Here's a pro tip: for salt, use some of that Maldon's Smoked Salt. You get a surprising amount of smoky flavor from it. Yes, that's it. I love it. Thanks for the tip. That sounds good! I made this meal in it. Air fried the potatoes and garlic bread, then grilled the steak. That looks tasty as all hell.

Typical Sunday roast dinner for me today. Was hard to beat... Especially since it's so cold outside.

Getting ready to eat a uncured pepperoni pizza from Trader Joe’s. Waiting on the oven to warm up. On first glance, I thought this said "unicorn pepperoni pizza." Wasn't sure if that meant the elusively perfect pepperoni pizza, or the pepperoni was made of unicorns.

Bowl of Cabbage Potato Soup and thin slices of Molinari Salami on Pilot Crackers.
It is so cold only boiling hot soup works.

Think my Mrs. is in a “spicy” mood. Butter chicken yesterday and Malaysian today. Maybe I’ll get lucky?

I’m on a quick-fix kick... Supper— in a bowl one can of black beans. 8 quarter-sized coins of smoked sausage grilled on the griddle, mixed with beans. One large mushroom sliced and mixed. Dashes of adobo, sweetener, balsamic. Two minutes in the MW. Ingest. Savory and satisfying with a large glass of vino da tavolo and tortilla chips.

I should be in bed. However, what I'm doing is baking a Palermos Pizza. A Rod Serling flick from the mid-50's is playing called "Patterns" and I've seen it several times but, for some reason, am watching it again.

Had roast of beef, carrots and mashed potatoes. A garden salad and mashed potatoes. Chocolate cake and napoleon ice cream for dessert. My mom and daughter like the strawberry. Chocolate for msimy wife! And plane simple vanilla for me. We are settling down now and getting ready for bed. (Sherman is lucky still with us)
