Elk Meatloaf sandwich, open face, with mustard and baby spinach leaves stuck on top.
I just do not prepare and eat real meals anymore. You know, a meat and two or three.

Back to my high protein diet. Dang... I’m really beginning to hate salad! At this rate I’ll be growing whiskers and a fluffy tail.

Two poached eggs on a bed of mixed grains with tamari sauce. Not too exciting but healthful, I hope.

Half of one of my Red Baron ‘augmented’ pizzas: fresh mushrooms, extra pepperoni, black olives, anchovies, parmesan. Fuel, not cuisine.

Mom decided on Chinese for our weekly lunch date. Service was exceptional and our entire meal was ready with five minutes of ordering. The owner must be ex military as he had his staff running like clockwork!

It has been a long time since a restaurant has open in these parts. Just take out. I look forward to the day we can sit inside again.

Swung through the drive-through at Carl Jr’s for lunch today. A very hateful, young lady of about 400lbs working at the window demanded I put my cigar out. I ignored her. I’m in my truck, and I don’t respond well to disrespect or rude behavior, so it’s best to not respond at all. She didn’t let up, just got meaner. Told me I was breaking the law, demanded again I put it out. I ignored her. By the time I finally got my meal (which turned out to not be what I had ordered) and pulled away, she was screaming at somebody in the building to record my license plate so she could call the cops on me. For having a lit cigar in my own truck. I was holding it in my right hand out over the passenger seat so it wasn’t blowing in her window, but she could still see it. I ain’t stubbin’ out a perfectly good hand rolled cigar without good reason for anyone. Not in my own truck. Not for a loud, self-entitled, discourteous millennial.

Half of a baked potato. Half of a baked acorn squash. Just not very hungry. Evenings are like that. Not much appetite.
I better get with it. A leg of lamb and a Picanha are in route. I would hate to have to feed that to the dogs!!! I order meat on-line now as the stores in Town of Toad are not worth the trouble nor the risk of exposure to virus. Worst meat department I have seen.
