Tonight's dinner. Baked cod with garlic herb butter sauce on a bed of cous cous, with a side of roasted broccoli with sea salt and lemon.

We had a pre-seasoned tri tip roast tonight, oven baked at low temps...sides were loaded mashed potatoes and canned Pop-Eye spinach. A simple ,but very tasty hot meal on a cold night. Everyone was happy.

Those little Sweet Hawaiian slider buns have been seeing much use lately. Tonight I made little piles of mesquite-smoked turkey breast, just the right size. Grilled‘em up under a bacon press and plopped them onto lightly toasted buns on top of some pepper cheese. No problem choking them down. A little cottage cheese on the side and sweet tea to wash ‘em down. Quick fare but adequate.

Smoking a Jasper freehand this morning ,one of a matched pair I picked up at an antique store last year. I'm told they came O.W.Larson. this is the first smoke for either of them ,and the tobacco is VooDoo Queen, my usual hot coffee sits close by.

sounds like me Herbert...I frequently put one subject in wrong thread, fungers get fimbled!
Shortly moving forward to Schwan #481 (3) toaster pancakes, one cycle. Add usuals, nuke to plateful of mess. Add k-cup cocoa & all to smoking room, eat & continue with the papers. Some might note I rotate 4 diff Schwan breakfast items, that's enuf variety to suit me

Since I was in Alamosa CO, visited KFC and had chicken done right! Quite tasty! It is nice when the store follows the directions in preparation.
