I am not familiar with the Cosmic Apple. Is that a metaphor? No it’s a real apple. Truthfully the most amazing apple I’ve ever eaten and I live 10 minutes from several of the best orchards in my state. cosmiccrisp.com/Yes those apples are out of this world!

I remember reading about the Cosmic Crisp apple a couple of years ago, when they were still working on it. If it's better than the Honey Crisp, look out. That thing's the crack cocaine of apples.

Then the cosmics are the bath salts (might have to read up on that one) of apples. They are better than honey crisp in my opinion anyday.

Went out to dinner with friends tonight. I had chicken cordon bleu, Brussel's sprouts and a Caesar salad. Not bad, not great either - but had a great time.

Another Spinach Omelet, heavy on the spinach. With Reggiano Parmesan, sliced, Lots of fresh ground black pepper. The only improvement I can think of is substituting goat cheese.

Today’s lunch. This is part of my “do something nice for myself everyday during my birthday week.” Happy Birthday! I did not know! The memo did not arrive. Much better than my last birthday dinner, a can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup.
