Potato stroganoff Hamburger Helper with extra garlic and sour cream, Italian green beans and cherry crunch with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream. 😁😋🤤 The packaged variety has really deteriorated, IMO. The noodles are like slivers. So, I make it from scratch. Heap Big Better, as we say in NM. The potato ones are the same, but I agree that the noodles are slipping.

Chocolate cake with ice cream and frosting on it...heck of a breakfast, but I'm retired and can eat what I want to when I want to. Cake and Ice Cream. That is something I have not seen in many years. My elderly German lady neighbor used to love that for desert after a mighty German meal.

One perfectly ripe banana and a handful of walnuts. Banana bread without all the extra carbs? Exactly! Lunch was Pickle & Pimento loaf with Colby cheese, Romaine lettuce and spicy brown mustard ... a little Cottage cheese on the side.

Good is it not? When done right it can be a real treat. Often screwed up by indifferent workers lacking supervision. The best KFC store I ever visited was in the Low Country of North Carolina, on Route 17, Ocean Highway, near Ocean Isle. This store was staffed only by old ladies. I mean proper North Carolina Working Class ladies. Dignified, serious, polite. Man, did they know how to fry chicken!!! Never had to the like. My Ex and I still talk about it. You see, we had to bring a number of Buckets to a family gathering. It was so dang good, we could stop eating it on the way!!

Grilled filet mignon - medium. It was melt in your mouth perfect! ("Grilled" on a Ninja Foodie.) Covered it with mushrooms sautéed in butter, minced garlic and a dash of soy sauce. For sides, tater tots and breaded okra cooked in the air fryer, And a couple glasses of a dry red blend from California. A 2015 vintage which I'm afraid is a year or so past it's peak.
