When I first came on here I thought the “What are you eating?” forum was just plain dumb. I mean, who the hell cares what we chow down on? But it has really grown on (like a fungus?) and I quite enjoy it now. It’s a treat to look at Sparks’ masterpieces and I like whatever chef Tosh posts. Quite a roster of gourmands here and I’ve even learned a lot from them. I take back all the evil thoughts about it! Lots of fun. Thanks, guys... and— good chompin’! I get a lot of good ideas from what I see posted here - and learn a thing or two as well.

Drove a carless neighbor into the village of Questa so he could wash his clothes. They have been self standing in the corner of his house long enough!!!
So, lunch was tacos at a local stand. Good enough. A small females Pit Bull mix came over and sat with me. So, I gave her a third of each of the three tacos. I am fat enough to share food with thems that need. She sure enjoyed that and took each piece so delicately from my fingers. Obviously, the product of superior breeding!

Wife’s off to visit her mom tonight and I’m home left to my own devices. Wondering if Justin (Sparks) is available to cook me dinner? LOL.... I’m sure I can manage something.

Brought home some charcoal grilled lamb ribs from the Questa Market. Will enjoy with a sweet potato and baked squash.
Lamb Ribs are popular in northern NM. Must be the Navajo influence?

Chicken Spaghetti from the Cass County Seat Cafe with a salad and chocolate Bundt cake. 😉 Reminds me of the Greek restaurants, Spaghetti and fried chicken livers. (on the side) Delicious but don't sound like it would until you try it)

Probably at the Windswept Inn that closed in 78.

Yup, now I have to buy some at the grocery & fry them up. I think one of the gas stations has them. I just have to figure out what day. Very rarely are they available at the markets in the town of Toad. Just one of many foods we cannot get owing to the corporate bureaucrats who decide what foods we can and cannot have. Tiresome. SO many cuts of meat and poultry I remember which are not attainable here.

Thawed out a venison tenderloin but decided to binge on La Village Francaise instead so had a spicy shrimp Cup-a-Noodles. Who says I’m not a gourmet cook?

Nope, it's a white sauce but no Parmesan or cheese at all.
