A couple more medium 20oz sirloin strips, with mashed potatoes and a salad. It didn't last long enough for pictures.

Grilled garlic summer sausage on tortilla chips with sweet onions and bread-and-butter chips and honey mustard. I like these “sorta tapas” meals. Quick and easy.

For breakfast I had an egg and cheese sandwich - but on a bagel.
Lunch, just a turkey and cheese sandwich.

Leftover carbonara for lunch. There is a special trick to reheating it so you don't scramble the egg.

Pork chops and applesauce, mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese. Milk in the glass. Only one long, half an hour to go.

Went to Kitts Cornbread Sandwiches in Jefferson for lunch today. I had the Irish. Corned beef, Swiss cheese, tomato, and onion on 2 pieces of cornbread. And Hungry Farmers Stewp. It was really good. Brought home buttermilk pie for dessert tonight.

The real stuff is good, but can be hard to find. Pretty sure the company that makes the stuff I get is stateside, but still a damn good product.

Italian made is available in Taos. Pricey but so good. So much better than Boar's Head. Molinari of San Francisco used to make the real deal. I will have to check on them.

I'm pretty sure Citterio is the brand my grocer carries. It's mass produced and a common brand, but typically only available at finer retailers. Certainly better than Boars Head, which is the most common around here in Philly. Citterio also makes the cappicolo that I love.

I have enjoyed Citterio's products in the past. Their regular salami and Capocollo.
