Royal Yacht in a Rossi Rubino Antico. Hadn’t smoked it in a while. Didn’t realize Tobacco Reviews had this as an aromatic and didn’t remember it being so strong. Good but strong. Yes it does have a way of kicking you in the arse If you’re not careful.

Good morning, the situation here is not so good, our life here has suddenly deteriorated so much that it has a direct impact on our health. The 3 main reasons are: the new neighbours (here we ironically call them "Investors") and the lack of peace-sleep from them, the unusualness of the dogs on the balconies and the fact that they get dirty on the side-walk (here things are not organized as in other countries) and all 3 are Lockdown and the restrictions we had from the state-police (only we, not the "Investors"). I have gained weight, my blood pressure has increased and I am generally not in a good mood. I do not smoke or drink coffee as before, I have stopped modifying pipes and uploading material to my blog. I try to improve my quality of life as much as I can but it is extremely difficult with so many restrictions, I also can not complain because the system is deliberately made that way. Sorry to hear that, Sid ... if speaking politely to the neighbor doesn't help I know a guy who knows a guy! Seriously though, I hope they settle in and quiet down.

Had to take the wife to the airport this morning, so I'm at my usual spot having some luxury navy Flake and a Sam Adams.

Skandinavik Sungold. Are they remodeling the place? If so, hang in there, it can't last forever. But I feel your pain. Both the house next door, and the one across the street from me were bought by "investors" who essentially are just doing a ton of noisy work so they can flip the properties. The street is always crowded with work trucks, and power tools run at random hours. I like to go out and wail on something on the anvil when they are quiet, just to make a point.

July 4th. We had the grandchild over last night for her fireworks party and we all had a great time. This morning was day 2 of a three day ride schedule so it was Lane q1 in a cob. once home it was purple cow and now some burley#2 in the gbd. Purple cow is a good blend for drinking. Seemed to cut thru the haze and perk you up a bit. later will be some black frigate.

I consider this another day seized. After the daily devotions and some P&W at home, it was breakfast/brunch in bed for the princesses, then out to the grill. As it turns out, the boys and their SO's didn't come over, so we now have a rack and a half of pork ribs, 4 Ribeye steaks, and 8 ears of grilled corn for leftovers. After lunch, it was stacking a couple hundred landscaping blocks for future use and stacking firewood against next winter. Now it's a pair of Smithwicks and 'Scholars Blend' in this beautiful Calabrisi I found on eBay. It has an ebonite stem, and the bowl is full-sized, so I can get a good, long smoke out of it.

I'm tempted to slice a bit of Strang for later, though.
