Not to speak too soon, but… Jack is doing much better. The meds and lots of sleep seem to be working. He still wants “lap time”— putting his head on my knee and having me constantly pet him. And y’day he actually hauled his front end up INTO my lap. Sorry, guy, but 75 pounds is a bit much. But he was nearly normal today and when we went down to the mailbox he didn’t want to come back into the woods house. Stood in the driveway pleading for a longer walk, which he didn’t get. Soon maybe. Thanks for all the good thoughts and kind words.

My younger sister has a little Frenchie that is ADORABLE. He is her "service dog" though he has no formal training (Not trying to bring the discussion on this matter please.) His name is John Lincoln and he is ADORABLE! and does his job mostly even without formal training. I got to meet him this last week and fell in love.

Yesterday, we thought that it was going to be Rosie's last day with us. She slipped in the snow the other day and, because of her crumbling spine, she injured herself. The vet is trying another drug with her to see how she goes, but given that she was happy and eating, he's happy that she's not suffering, so she lives to sleep another day.

Our last Yorkie was chomping down on a Subway Club sandwich as his last shot was going in. He was blind, deaf and crippled with arthritis. But he would still eat. Sorry to hear about your pup. |
