Got a shock collar for Buddy, he's a handful, pulls on the leash like a big mule. Gonna vibrate him!

Buddy is a new dog, did not pull this morning, was quiet and not boisterous in living room, vibration worked well!

My Fathers Grandchild is a very wealthy lawyer doing Admirity work in Houston. His father lost an eye doing farm work, poor farmers no car, My Father was in high cotton with a gambling joint and pool hall, he drove him to Charity hospital in New Orleans and stayed for 2 days sleeping in his car, brought him back. I went off course to say the Grandchild just donated 2 million dollars to the seeing eye dog foundation. The back story is when my Father died the PRICK didn’t come to his furneal, loved the dogs more, the Prick!

No offense to anyone who has a Chihuahua, as at least 3 of my friends do, but some of them fit the bill.

Leo is back on the shite list… while doing a Zoom/ IPSD/ United Pipe Clubs Of America, my wife handed me a crumbled GBD lumberman that was one of my best smokers… I have no idea how he got it, but he did.
A bullet is a hell of a lot cheaper than that pipe costed. I did not want another dog at this point, but the wife insisted she wanted a dog…he has at least a dozen chew toys so he lacks nothing.

How frustrating. I can understand, as when my Irish Wolfhound chewed up a Gossen LunaPro light meter.

I think it was the only thing of value of value she ever destroyed. She was a sweet, gentle dog. But dumb as a box of rocks.

I still have my last one. None of my cameras had meters. It was a constant companion. I even made a paste-on Zone System dial for it. It was always super reliable. Still is, 40 years later.

Man, you are old! 😁 My Speed Graphic came with a guide for what settings to use in different lighting conditions. I used that. I believe that even my Yashica 124g had a meter. I did try taking pictures using the hand meter, but I thought it was more trouble than it was worth. I went in overly complicated and have been simplifying ever since. My best pics were taken with a Yashica 35gn. Sold 20 to Delta Airlines. They weren't art. I'm not an artist.

Some say old. Some might say ”vintage.” I don’t worship age, since old idiots are still idiots. Well said. When I was raised, I was taught to respect your elders, if I did not there would be hell to pay, so the thought of not doing so was never an option. And... that served me well, there were a lot of old guys in the workforce that gave me great advice through the years, but as I progressed in age myself, I came to the realization that your words are spot on. The same could be said in people that I have crossed paths with/ been exposed to, in my journey as a Christian. As for politics, pretty much the whole lot are dumbasses that are just smart enough to be owned by others, and once they get tenure somehow seem to develop a Teflon coating and never be held to the same standard as anyone else. If the hall monitors get exorcised...I am speaking across the board.

Right Charlie, was raised to respect older people regardless of race, Mr this and Mr that, and don’t butt in grown up conversion. Learned a lot by listening, something that didn’t carry over these days. IPHONES have made stupid people Geniuses!

Yeah, a lot has changed since the advent of cellphones, most reading I suspect is done on shallow thinking sources, and the great literary and genuine history that one can get from books is sadly not being read...that will be at their own peril, but sadly most of us are trapped on the same boat. SHIP AHOY!

Then one day they become elders and the kids think you are dumb.

(This is the commission that regulates the oil and gas industry.) I can't imagine this being legit, but it's probably same every other state in one way or another. People don't pay attention. I'll bet not one Texan in a thousand could name her and probably 1% of those couldn't name her opponents. We suck.

Here’s a shot of my two pups. In the foreground is Jupiter, a standard poodle, he’s around 9 years. In the background is Hyacinth, a pit bull rescue, she’s around 9 months. Hyacinth loves loves loves Jupe, not so much in the opposite direction.

Jupiter has quite a remarkable look with the color of his head...pretty cool if you ask me. Yeah, hyacinth looks like a rabble rouser in that pose.
