Thanks! now I can tell my wife "Look how much Zach ordered!" I I don't tell my wife how much Zach ordered. That is ill-advised! The 15 tins of Carolina Red Flake w/ Perique just showed up in the cellar recently.
Wow! This Gallaher's Rich Dark Honeydew flake is loaded with nicotine, a honey sweetness, and the Virginia's are pitch black. Seems the reviews on TR are for this as a ready-rubbed version, but I have the flake from a tiny, square tin. Unfortunately, I'd say it's a good 5 years past it's prime and a bit compromised but still rather smooth and tasty.
hehe it was just big talk. My wife is a quilter, so we just don't pay attention to each other purchases and all is well . I think I'll have to keep an eye out for the the Honeydew

Well, I went for a good 3 weeks? maybe without ordering any tobacco. Then the 15% Pease sale just kept sticking in my craw, and I waited until the last night of the sale... G. L. Pease: Stratford 2oz - 2 tins G. L. Pease: Telegraph Hill 2oz - 2 tins G. L. Pease: Fillmore 2oz - 2 tins G. L. Pease: Embarcadero 2oz - 2 tins G. L. Pease: Windjammer 2oz - 2 tins Finally grabbing all these Va/Pers of his I've never tried. I have a problem. Having my first bowl of some rehydrated 2001 Gallaher's Rich Dark Honeydew flake in a Krisswill Danish Clipper lovat. Nice haul. I have all those either in the cellar or on my list. Wrong thread, though.

Once the deeming rules take place a lot of Greg Pease excellent blends will no longer be available. Get them while you can.

Stratford and Embarcadero age fantastically and are well represented in my cellar. I recommend a minimum of 12 months of age for both.

I figured I better buy one to try fresh, and at least one to cellar. Depending on my likings, I'll then know what to cellar. I'm starting out late this morning with some Riverboat Gambler in an MM Mark Twain cob.

Glad to see that Briar Spirit pipe is getting a workout. Rich dark Flake, a real joy to smoke, in a small WDC Hesson Guard prince from about 1925.

Enjoying some WCC Rouxgaroux in a new to me Jobey Stromboli recently purchased from reborn pipes. I have been reading some of his restoration blogs for a while now, and only recently realized that he has some listed available on the site. I really love the look of this one.

Nice Jobey, Rattlesnake. I've got one of my grandfather's Jobey's that's a deeply rusticated bent billiard much like yours, with the same bright yellow acrylic stem, only bent.
