Can't see the pics for some reason but will try to add a few of my new places to smoke since moving.
My "man cave" is now a Quonset Hut ... lots of room for my projects:

Out by the pool ... never had one of these before:

Park bench under the Pecan Trees looking out towards Sedona:

When one of my sons moved out, I converted a basement bedroom to my reloading, radio and smoking room. I planned ahead when I built the bedroom years ago and insulated all the walls and the ceiling. Quietest room in the house. Two overstuffed armchairs, reloading bench, old radios, antique fishing tackle, etc. Here is my smoking table.

Some of you guys are just show-offs. My current favorite smoking spot is under the shade tree in my front yard. I used to have my garage as a mancave but it has been overfilled with stuff belonging to our oldest daughter and her husband so I can barely get to my recliner in there.

Thanks for sharing the pics guys, y'all got some nice collections & cool hang out spots!
It can be as simple as sitting outside on the porch or having a nice man cave. It's all about the enjoyment of it & we all have our own ways to do that.

Well me and my wife both smoke, so we usually smoke in the living room, or on the front porch or rear deck. I like smoking in the cold weather on the front porch with a fire in the fire pit.
that's my favorite spot!

I really love seeing all these photos. Xuan wants to shoot me for not selling my slot machine and Pachinko machine. I just like looking at them.
James, we have a two unit house. Not sure how similar this is: I had dibs on the other unit for my computer and various implements of destruction. When I had my neck injury she was so damned nice, feeding me home made cakes and pies everyday. She made me totally worthless. Then when I was getting around a little I noticed she commandeered the other unit. I let he know she will have to take my slot machine from my cold dead quarter holding hand

When the porch/patio is as plush and cushy as a den you know you've done your job

That certainly puts the "man" in mancave...it probably draws the man into the mancave a lot also.

Man Cave What a fun thread. James, I don't see any 'showing off' at all. I see a really nice, comfortable space that you have created to enjoy your hobby. Nice! I saved the picture of the 'pipe wall' for reference. My lady was generous with me when we moved into this house a couple of months ago. I got a small bedroom to make into my 'man cave'. Her attitude has gone from 'NO MORE PIPE STUFF' to 'you need a nice pipe rack to display your pipes on'. I think that getting her to share a bowl of Sutliff Rum & Maple with me had a lot to do with it. Grin... So, here is my setup, shortly after moving the furniture into the room. Note, only one recliner here too. The window looks out onto the front yard and a view of the mountains to the east of us. Very nice spot to relax. The wall with the window is slated to get surrounding display units of some sort. (After a huge list of honey-dos gets completed) And after moving a few toys into place. And after a few friends from my model RR hobby moved in. On the other side of the room is an old desk that is my 'work bench' for estate pipe restorations. The wooden cabinet on top of the desk will get hung on the wall to free up more work surface. The cabinet was made for reloading gear years ago. Now repurposed for this hobby. Then this setup sneaked into the room. Not much more space left. The lathe and dental engine are for small pipe work like stems and carving and such. The big lathe will be in my shop and all that messy stuff will be out there. That's it. Let's see some more 'caves'. It is fun to share this stuff.

That's one heck of a set up. I tried to bring my main tools to play with in my mancave turned out to be a disaster. 2 buffers with 2 pads on each side for a total of 8. Hit all the new pads with a buffer comb to fluff them up an white fuzz every where. I laughed so hard, but my poor wife didn't think it was so funny. It took her 3 days to defuzz my whole room. You see all the pipes that had to be wiped off. LOL! Every thing back out to the shop. Great job!

Man Cave Update So, I did a bit of updating in my 'office' today. I added a shelf unit that I made for the previous house. It didn't fit into the kitchen here, so it became a shelf in my office. I think it will work great. It has an LED light strip that has a remote. Right now it is set to red, any color can be chosen as well as brightness. Pretty neat thing actually. Most of my carbide lamp collection (I am an old worn out miner and spelunker) is on two of the shelves and pipes started occupying another shelf. My little dawg is guarding from my chair. The new shelf allowed moving some stuff around. Now my train has a home. I have had that one since I was maybe 4 years old. Now it has a place of honor again.

I smoke where ever I'd like in our cave. I have no pictures yet. I'd very much like to be able to see your photos. I quit Photobucket when they said I'd have to pay like $500 to be able to post my photos to a third party site. The Briar Patch is that third party site.

Thanks slowroll for bumping this. Good grief there are some amazing places. I converted part of my garage into a mini office that I planned to smoke in too, but it's so small (like 4'x 6') I'd suffocate.

This is a bitter sweet thread for me. Sweet in that there are some "Sweet" smoking hangouts here ! Bitter in that all of the pictures I originally posted here were abducted and held for ransom by Photosuckit! Here's a link to a thread that has other links to other threads (see what I did there ;-) ) thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/3354/acquisition-disorders-all-pic-heavy

Still working on the man cave/ 1 car garage, currently adding a portable 8,500 btu a/c unit, mounting a 8 ft wide workbench top, swapping and adding more speakers, putting up 2 of the 4ft. LED strip lights over the desk and workbench, making a shelf for over the 6ft wide steel tanker desk. Recently found a smoking stand to put between me and my smoking buddies that come over. Will post up a picture when I get done.
