I'm not familiar yet with that cherrywood/hawkbill style MM cob? And I've been wanting that Emerald bent since it was released. I love cobs. the draw on the poker is quite restricted. FYI, it smokes okay but a tighter draw than I am used to / prefer.
EDIT: after running a couple pipe cleaners all the way through it has gotten a little better. Still tight but definitely smoke-able.
I had one that was full of wood shavings. Really restricted the draw.

No tobacco but did get new motor and little heat generator for the fan for the wood stove. It sits on top of the stove and when it gets hot it turns the heat into electricity to run the fan with a little motor. It died last year got it all put back together on stove and running took about 15 minutes

A few years ago, it was readily available. 🤷♂️ I don't really know what things were like before. Since I got back into it, they've been scarce. I've always read it's because supply is limited, but maybe it's just demand is suffering "irrational exuberance."

Since I got back into it, they've been scarce. I've always read it's because supply is limited, but maybe it's just demand is suffering "irrational exuberance." Things seem to go in waves of what's popular. For some reason, about 4 years ago, Rattray's suddenly got "discovered" and "popular". Prior to that it was easy to get online. Online is hard now, but I often see B&Ms with some on the shelves.

Not so much a "What's in the Mail" as "What was in the B&B.... Met a good friend for a cigar and an afternoon Scotch this afternoon @ a relatively new Cigar Shop / Bar. While we were enjoyin our Lost Cities and sippin our Scotch, Bob had to take a call. I used the opportunity to peruse the humidor and found a very small pipe tobacco offering. I picked up a couple sample bags of their English Blends and the one and only tin of Cringle Flake. The samples were free, the tin was $16 cheers

I passed on the 2021 version but last year's was really tasty and I’m glad I cellared 10 tins of it.

1000 rounds of Winchester M855 green tip in 556 1000 rounds .45 ACP 1000 rounds 9MM The supply and prices have come down to more reasonable levels. Hit the front door today, labels printed and on the shelf. A few months back, a widow sold a boatload of Government issued Ammo cans of the 7.62/M19A1/ .30 caliber for $5 apiece that her husband had amassed in a government liquidation sale, all in great condition. I bought 20. These are nice in that you can fill one, carry in each hand without feeling like a mule. I already have 20 filled with assorted calibers, 15 to go. 4 wooden crates of 30.06 on the shelf....after that is done, it is about cellaring primers and powders as I should have time to reload when I retire....I have a ton of brass that is hungry.

nice trailboss ! I need to get makin's for .44 Special, don't care as much for .44 Mag as I used to.... I hear you, I really like the 9MM as Arthur I. Tis is present in my wrists. With the advancement in powders and projectiles no need to punish myself on control, follow up shots, and lack of penetration with Rambo calibers needed in the past. Better to be able to get more range time on shot placement and accuracy.
