The older dog looks a bit puzzled by him, too. What is you?

We should ALL be so lucky. My JOB is spoiling my buddies. They do everything for me; I do what I can for them.

Such innocence. Such purity. Such fraud. The soon to happen mischief is evident in their attempted gaslighting demeanor!

@lordguyrox thank you! She's came a long way since I got her. She was less than 2 lbs and couldn't even walk. Now she's right at 50 and still growing.
The new pup is doing great. Eventhough Percy is full of energy and gets a little (or a lot) rambunctious at times, shes really easy and gentle with the "little" one.

Dogs are like our children...spoiling is necessary.

“Spoiling” might not be the right word. It is so easy to “delight” a dog. A tiny biscuit, scratching their ears or tummy, taking them for a quick walk down to the mailbox, giving them a ride in the truck, a run to the creek, a cuddle on the couch. So easy. And their delight is real, spontaneous, unfaked. I figure “Why not?” We don’t have the pleasure of their company for nearly long enough not to delight them every chance we get. That’s my story anyway, and I’m gonna stick with it.

Spoiling the dog lowers my blood pressure. Keeps me from following through on a sudden urge to do physical harm to morons...knowing I would be away from the pooch. Little things like this keeps us older folks alive and kicking.

Just me, but I wouldn't let one of my dogs get cozy playing with something that looks like a snake.

I have banned and removed all cloth and cottony toys from my dog-house long ago. GSPs shred them on sight and even swallow threads and tatters. Years ago I had a Boston Terrier that was into that hobby as well. Shred and swallow— altho I wasn't aware until later of all the swallowing that was going on. A trip to the emergency vet and a very expensive surgery to remove an impaction of cloth-toy remnants taught me the lesson. Of course, dogs are all different and some might just love on their toys and not destroy them. Owners know their dogs and act accordingly.

She recently tore the ears off of Lambchop that she's had since she was a little puppy. The snake is holding up much better. She doesn't seem to swallow any parts. as soon as they stop fighting back she drops them. 😁🤠

Duke my American Bulldog has eaten our granddaughters socks before, it is no fun watching him try to pass them, and pulling it out of his bum is quite the floss job.
In some ways he is really smart, other ways, dumb as a stump.

Our little girl just turned a year old. I remember bringing her home at 10 weeks old. One day I sneezed and she shot like a bullet under our couch. A few months later, I sneezed and she shot like a bullet under the couch - but her head wedged between the bottom of the couch and the floor. She was too big to get under it any more.

Ronv69Our little girl destroys her "toys". Some "soft" toys last only a few hours. She even went across the street to the neighbors and stole a stuffed toy from their dog. They said let her keep it. She shredded it in an hour - and we had to take it away from her. She even started tearing up her bed that she had since she was a couple months old. Bad thing is - she likes to chew on peoples hands too! She's a year old, but hasn't completely grown out of it yet. If I slap her when she bites, she thinks "Cool! We're now playing rough. Bring it on!". She's supposed to be a "teddy bear" dog. She's confused and she thinks she's a grizzly bear. Here she is pretending to be a sweet little puppy.

I break pups of biting by squeezing their lips onto their teeth (carefully!) and saying "No bite!" Usually takes about three reps and they get the idea. Just my 2¢...

Do you expect us to believe that slander about that innocent puppy? I think not. Lacy actually is rather easy on her toys. The Lambchop she recently tore the ears off of was over 4 years old. The "snake" is actually a very, very long leopard that is older than her.
